ABOUT SHERRYE WYATT
Sherrye Wyatt serves as Washington Filmworks’ Film Liaison for Island County, as well as Public Relations and Marketing Manager at Whidbey and Camano Islands Tourism. Previously, she spent several years directing communications programs within the Northwest cider and wine industries. Before that, she helped create, and then managed for several years, a charitable foundation serving Washington’s tree fruit industry. Prior to that she lived in Washington, D.C. where she was director of public affairs for an international trade association representing North American export grain companies (NAEGA).
ABOUT AMY LILLARD
Amy Lillard is the Executive Director of Washington Filmworks and has been with the program since it launched in 2007. Under her leadership, WF has helped over 90 film projects complete principal photography, which have brought an estimated 242 Million dollars to the statewide economy.
Amy Lillard started her career as an independent film publicist out of New York and Los Angeles designing the release campaigns for groundbreaking films such at The Blair Witch Project, American Psycho, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Amy retired from publicity in 2000 and took a trip around the world. Two years and 42 countries later, she settled in Seattle where she has worked in various capacities including, director of publicity and promotion at Seattle International Film Festival, festival director of the Reel Cinerama Film Festival, and producer of the Fly Filmmaking Challenge.
ABOUT JANE CHARLES
Film and television producer and development executive. Highly skilled storyteller and communications specialist with experience developing and implementing global campaigns. Clear communicator, writer and active collaborator. Recently completed East of the Mountains, a feature film based on the best-selling novel by David Guterson, directed by SJ Chiro, starring Tom Skerritt and Mira Sorvino, to be released in 2020. ABOUT NATE BELL
Nate Bell was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. After graduating magna cum laude from Biola University in 2005, he spent time as a freelance film critic, serving as entertainment correspondent for the Los Angeles Daily News and writing a featured column for the faith and culture website, ConversantLife.com. He currently writes for L.A. Weekly.
Bell attended Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, where he was honored with a Cecil Award for Outstanding Film Scholar of the Year. He graduated with an M.A. in 2013. Watching Rear Window at the age of ten converted him into a lifelong cinephile. He and his creative partner Andrew Morehouse co-founded BellHouse Productions.
